So this guy turned 10 yesterday. Being the terrible mother that I am, I left the birthday cookie that was purchased last week in its wrapping and went to bed early. And I spent my day off today in a zombie-like stupor watching Gossip Girl on Netflix instead of playing and cuddling with the Boss Man. But he must know he’s loved because he’s been able to eat and sleep all day, every day this week, which are pretty much his favorite things to do. I guess I’ll let him sleep in my bed tonight so he can be super comfy and I can rub his belly while I smell his popcorn-scented paws (a smell that someone once told me was caused by bacteria, a fact I choose to forget and ignore).
